Perspective

Sitting in Starbucks with my kids in tow. Each of us has an activity that keeps us occupied. My son has his tablet as he overlooks my activity. My daughter reads a book. We all sip on a favorite beverage purchased with the $15 gift card my husband gave me as part of a romantic bundle of gifts. For the next few minutes I furiously type on my Mac detailing the humorous events of my 7 year old son’s recent loss of a tooth. And within an hour, the latest book of my series I’m working on is completed. Praise God for the day off work, the means and resources, and the talent to work on my hobby – writing.
